Nutritional Therapy in Crystal Palace, Upper Norwood, South East London
The food we eat and the way we live can have a profound impact on our health and wellbeing. Nutritional therapy is a complementary medicine where evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle interventions are used to support the body systems and promote good health. Each of us is unique, and lifestyle plans are tailored to your own individual needs and goals.
How does it work?
You will receive a health, diet (i.e. a 3-day food diary) and lifestyle questionnaire.
During your initial consultation (75 minutes), you will discuss your medical history, your symptoms, your diet and lifestyle. With the nutritional therapist you will work on an achievable plan to help you reach your goals. A personalised plan will be crafted for you, with handouts and recipes. If necessary GP referral or functional testing may be necessary and supplements recommended.
The follow-up consultation (45 minutes) typically takes place a month later. During the follow-up, we will review your health and progress. Sometimes, more follow-ups are recommended depending on how you feel.
