ALL OUR PRACTITIONERS ARE FULLY QUALIFIED AND REGISTERED WITH THEIR GOVERNING ASSOCIATION
OSTEOPATHS
The Osteopaths Act 1993 established the General Osteopathic Council, which licenses all U.K. Osteopaths in the same way as the General Medical Council licenses Medical Practitioners. Osteopaths, now part of the UK’s primary healthcare team see and treat safely, well over 7 million patients each year and rising. We are committed to treating all patients safely with drug free manual therapy.
Osteopaths achieve a Diploma in Osteopathy (D.O) or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Honours Degree in Osteopathy.
All our Osteopaths are fully qualified and experienced. This is reflected in our recognition by all leading healthcare insurers as specialists in osteopathic medicine and as NHS providers. We have four Osteopaths and the practice is open six days per week, which means that same day appointments are often available.
In addition to being acute and chronic structural and functional specialists, our Osteopaths also have areas of speciality such as cranial, paediatric, trauma, and sports either through ongoing research, post-graduate training or clinical teaching. You should enquire via reception should you have any special area of interest or need.
